National Development and Reform Commission: "NDRC Signs Two Cooperation Documents with Relevant Thai Authorities"

On February 10, 2025, under the joint witness of the premiers of China and Thailand, Liu Sushe, Vice Chairman of China's National Development and Reform Commission (NDRC), and heads of relevant Thai authorities signed two important documents on exchanges and cooperation in the fields of artificial intelligence (AI) and economic development. This event marks a new stage in China-Thailand cooperation in these areas.

The signed documents include the "Memorandum of Understanding between the National Development and Reform Commission of the People's Republic of China and the Ministry of Digital Economy and Society of the Kingdom of Thailand on Deepening Cooperation in Artificial Intelligence". The document aims to strengthen cooperation between the two countries in AI development and governance, enabling the technology to better serve the people of both nations. Also signed was the "Memorandum of Understanding between the National Development and Reform Commission of the People's Republic of China and the Office of the National Economic and Social Development Council of the Kingdom of Thailand on Exchanges and Cooperation in the Field of Economic Development", which will promote policy sharing and experience exchange between the two sides in multiple areas such as macroeconomics, the joint construction of the "Belt and Road" Initiative, economic and trade investment, sustainable development, and the digital economy.
