Co-hosted by the governments of Guangdong, Hong Kong, and Macao, the 2025 Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Greater Bay Area (GBA) Global Investment Promotion Conference kicked off in Guangzhou on the 3rd. With the theme of "Invest in the Greater Bay Area, Create a Brighter Future", the conference fully demonstrates the GBA’s economic vitality, innovation momentum, regional charm, and investment potential, and builds a broad platform for global enterprises to invest and develop their businesses.

At the conference, representatives from multiple foreign-funded enterprises shared their investment experiences. Ian McIntosh, Global CEO of Louis Dreyfus Company, reviewed the "Guangzhou Speed" he witnessed when the Nansha Fuling Food Technology Industrial Park was put into production in a record time in 2023. He also announced that the company plans to launch a special feed protein production line in Guangzhou and cooperate with local enterprises to develop high-value-added feed products.

Faisal Al-Faqeer, Senior Vice President of Saudi Aramco, stated that Saudi Aramco has been operating in Guangzhou for over 30 years through its joint ventures in the city. Saudi Aramco and China share aligned goals in the development of the petrochemical industry, and the two sides are currently exploring new cooperation paths. In addition, Saudi Aramco’s venture capital fund has invested in technology startups in Guangdong, and the company will also collaborate with Guangdong in the field of new materials for next-generation industries in the future.

Martin Lindström, Executive Vice President of ASSA ABLOY Group, mentioned that over the past 25 years, the group has established manufacturing bases, R&D centers, and sales networks in Guangdong. He believes that Guangdong is a model for regional development and a global investment hub, with advantages including an efficient and complete supply chain, leading innovation centers, and a proactive and efficient government. Going forward, ASSA ABLOY will strengthen its layout in Guangdong, focusing on areas such as green development and sci-tech talent cooperation.

It is reported that the conference’s "1+9+N" series of activities—comprising 1 main venue event, 9 investment promotion conferences in the Pearl River Delta cities, and N overseas roadshows and investment inspection activities—have received active response and strong support from global enterprises.
