Semiconductor Industry Special Joint Conference

The "Semiconductor Industry Special Joint Conference" will be held in the third quarter of 2025. Fifteen entities including Shanghai Lingang New Area, SMIC (Semiconductor Manufacturing International Corporation) and Huahong Semiconductor will be invited to participate. Solutions will be formulated for issues such as "import substitution of semiconductor equipment" and "talent gap". The conference will promote Shanghai Lingang New Area to introduce the "subsidy policy for semiconductor equipment R&D", and at the same time facilitate SMIC to establish a joint talent training program with 3 universities, which is expected to deliver 200 professional talents annually.
